Mark 12:10

12:10 Have you not read this scripture:

The stone the builders rejected has become the cornerstone.

Mark 12:24

12:24 Jesus said to them, “Aren’t you deceived for this reason, because you don’t know the scriptures or the power of God?

Mark 14:49

14:49 Day after day I was with you, teaching in the temple courts, yet you did not arrest me. But this has happened so that the scriptures would be fulfilled.”

tn Or “capstone,” “keystone.” Although these meanings are lexically possible, the imagery in Eph 2:20-22 and 1 Cor 3:11 indicates that the term κεφαλὴ γωνίας (kefalh gwnia") refers to a cornerstone, not a capstone.

tn Or “mistaken” (cf. BDAG 822 s.v. πλανάω 2.c.γ).

tn Grk “and”; καί (kai) is elastic enough to be used contrastively on occasion, as here.

tn Grk “But so that”; the verb “has happened” is implied.
