Matthew 13:41

13:41 The Son of Man will send his angels, and they will gather from his kingdom everything that causes sin as well as all lawbreakers. ¹ 

Matthew 21:3

21:3 If anyone says anything to you, you are to say, ‘The Lord needs them,’ ²  and he will send them at once.”

Matthew 24:31

24:31 And he will send his angels with a loud trumpet blast, and they will gather his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven ³  to the other.

² sn The custom called angaria allowed the impressment of animals for service to a significant figure.

³ tn Or “of the sky”; the Greek word οὐρανός (ouranos) may be translated “sky” or “heaven,” depending on the context.
