Matthew 24:6

24:6 You will hear of wars and rumors of wars. Make sure that you are not alarmed, for this must happen, but the end is still to come. ¹ 

Matthew 24:14

24:14 And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached throughout the whole inhabited earth as a testimony to all the nations, ²  and then the end will come.

Matthew 26:58

26:58 But Peter was following him from a distance, all the way to the high priest’s courtyard. After ³  going in, he sat with the guards ⁴  to see the outcome.

² tn Or “all the Gentiles” (the same Greek word may be translated “nations” or “Gentiles”).

³ tn Here καί (kai) has not been translated.

⁴ sn The guards would have been the guards of the chief priests who had accompanied Judas to arrest Jesus.
