Micah 3:12

3:12 Therefore, because of you, Zion will be plowed up like a field,

Jerusalem will become a heap of ruins,

and the Temple Mount will become a hill overgrown with brush!

Micah 3:2

3:2 yet you hate what is good,

and love what is evil.

You flay my people’s skin

and rip the flesh from their bones.

Micah 1:1

Introduction

1:1 This is the prophetic message that the Lord gave to 10  Micah of Moresheth. He delivered this message 11  during the reigns of 12  Jotham, Ahaz, and Hezekiah, kings of Judah. The prophecies pertain to 13  Samaria 14  and Jerusalem. 15

Isaiah 25:2

25:2 Indeed, 16  you have made the city 17  into a heap of rubble,

the fortified town into a heap of ruins;

the fortress of foreigners 18  is no longer a city,

it will never be rebuilt.

Isaiah 25:12

25:12 The fortified city (along with the very tops of your 19  walls) 20  he will knock down,

he will bring it down, he will throw it down to the dusty ground. 21

Jeremiah 9:11

9:11 The Lord said, 22

“I will make Jerusalem 23  a heap of ruins.

Jackals will make their home there. 24

I will destroy the towns of Judah

so that no one will be able to live in them.”

Jeremiah 51:37

51:37 Babylon will become a heap of ruins.

Jackals will make their home there. 25

It will become an object of horror and of hissing scorn,

a place where no one lives. 26

Hosea 13:16

13:16 (14:1) 27  Samaria will be held guilty, 28

because she rebelled against her God.

They will fall by the sword,

their infants will be dashed to the ground –

their 29  pregnant women will be ripped open.
