Nehemiah 3:31-32

3:31 After him Malkijah, one of the goldsmiths, worked as far as the house of the temple servants and the traders, opposite the Inspection Gate, ¹  and up to the room above the corner. 3:32 And between the room above the corner and the Sheep Gate the goldsmiths and traders worked.

Isaiah 46:6

46:6 Those who empty out gold from a purse

and weigh out silver on the scale ² 

hire a metalsmith, who makes it into a god.

They then bow down and worship it.
