Psalms 104:14

104:14 He provides grass ¹  for the cattle,

and crops for people to cultivate, ² 

so they can produce food from the ground, ³ 

Jeremiah 14:5-6

14:5 Even the doe abandons her newborn fawn ⁴  in the field

because there is no grass.

14:6 Wild donkeys stand on the hilltops

and pant for breath like jackals.

Their eyes are strained looking for food,

because there is none to be found.” ⁵ 

Joel 1:18

1:18 Listen to the cattle groan! ⁶ 

The herds of livestock wander around in confusion ⁷ 

because they have no pasture.

Joel 2:22

2:22 Do not fear, wild animals! ⁸ 

For the pastures of the wilderness are again green with grass.

Habakkuk 3:17

3:17 When ¹⁰  the fig tree does not bud,

and there are no grapes on the vines;

Romans 8:20-22
