Psalms 116:7-11

116:7 Rest once more, my soul, ¹ 

for the Lord has vindicated you. ² 

116:8 Yes, ³  Lord, ⁴  you rescued my life from death,

and kept my feet from stumbling.

116:9 I will serve ⁵  the Lord

in the land ⁶  of the living.

116:10 I had faith when I said,

“I am severely oppressed.”

116:11 I rashly declared, ⁷ 

“All men are liars.”
