119:86 All your commands are reliable.

I am pursued without reason.¹ Help me!

Psalms 119:138

119:138 The rules you impose are just,²

and absolutely reliable.

119:142 Your justice endures,³

and your law is reliable.⁴

7:12 So then, the law is holy, and the commandment is holy, righteous, and good.

7:14 For we know that the law is spiritual – but I am unspiritual, sold into slavery to sin.⁵

¹sn God’s commands are a reliable guide to right and wrong. By keeping them the psalmist is doing what is right, yet he is still persecuted.
