Psalms 149:6

149:6 May they praise God

while they hold a two-edged sword in their hand,

Psalms 76:3

76:3 There he shattered the arrows,

the shield, the sword, and the rest of the weapons of war. (Selah)

tn Heb “[May] praises of God [be] in their throat, and a two-edged sword in their hand.”

tn Heb “flames of the bow,” i.e., arrows.

tn Heb “shield and sword and battle.” “Battle” probably here stands by metonymy for the weapons of war in general.
