Psalms 19:13

19:13 Moreover, keep me from committing flagrant ¹  sins;

do not allow such sins to control me. ² 

Then I will be blameless,

and innocent of blatant ³  rebellion.

Romans 6:12-14

6:12 Therefore do not let sin reign in your mortal body so that you obey its desires, 6:13 and do not present your members to sin as instruments ⁴  to be used for unrighteousness, ⁵  but present yourselves to God as those who are alive from the dead and your members to God as instruments ⁶  to be used for righteousness. 6:14 For sin will have no mastery over you, because you are not under law but under grace.

Romans 7:23-24

7:23 But I see a different law in my members waging war against the law of my mind and making me captive to the law of sin that is in my members. 7:24 Wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death?
