Revelation 11:3

11:3 And I will grant my two witnesses authority ¹  to prophesy for 1,260 days, dressed in sackcloth.

Revelation 12:6

12:6 and she ²  fled into the wilderness ³  where a place had been prepared for her ⁴  by God, so she could be taken care of ⁵  for 1,260 days.

¹ tn The word “authority” is not in the Greek text, but is implied. “Power” would be another alternative that could be supplied here.

² tn Grk “and the woman,” which would be somewhat redundant in English.

³ tn Or “desert.”

⁴ tn Grk “where she has there a place prepared by God.”
