Romans 9:25

9:25 As he also says in Hosea:

“I will call those who were not my people, ‘My people,’ and I will call her who was unloved, ¹  ‘My beloved.’” ² 

Romans 10:6

10:6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ³  ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’” ⁴  (that is, to bring Christ down)

It can also be argued, however, that it refers only to adult males here (“men”), perhaps as representative of all the faithful left in Israel.
