1 Corinthians 3:6-8

3:6 I planted, Apollos watered, but God caused it to grow. 3:7 So neither the one who plants counts for anything, nor the one who waters, but God who causes the growth. 3:8 The one who plants and the one who waters work as one, but each will receive his reward according to his work.

Deuteronomy 20:6

20:6 Or who among you has planted a vineyard and not benefited from it? He may go home, lest he die in battle and someone else benefit from it.

Proverbs 27:18

27:18 The one who tends a fig tree will eat its fruit,

and whoever takes care of his master will be honored.
