to Ben Hadad son of Tabrimmon, the son of Hezion, king of Syria, ruler in Damascus, along with this message:
15:19 “I want to make a treaty with you, like the one our fathers made.
See, I have sent you silver and gold as a present. Break your treaty with King Baasha of Israel, so he will retreat from my land.”

15:2 He ruled for three years in Jerusalem.

12:7 They said to him, “Today if you show a willingness to help these people and grant their request, they will be your servants from this time forward.”

Say this to them: ‘I am a lot harsher than my father!
12:11 My father imposed heavy demands on you; I will make them even heavier.
My father punished you with ordinary whips; I will punish you with whips that really sting your flesh.’”
Psalms 113:7-8
