The Building of the Temple
6:1 In the four hundred and eightieth year after the Israelites left Egypt, in the fourth year of Solomon’s reign over Israel, during the month Ziv (the second month), he began building the Lord’s temple.
1 Kings 7:2
7:2 He named
it “The Palace of the Lebanon Forest”;
it was 150 feet
long, 75 feet
wide, and 45 feet
high. It had four rows of cedar pillars and cedar beams above the pillars.
1 Kings 7:38
7:38 He also made ten bronze basins, each of which could hold about 240 gallons. Each basin was six feet in diameter; there was one basin for each stand.

in the south.

10:26 Solomon accumulated chariots and horses. He had 1,400 chariots and 12,000 horses. He kept them in assigned cities and in Jerusalem.
