1 Peter 1:8
1:8 You
have not seen him, but you love him. You
do not see him now but you believe in him, and so you rejoice
with an indescribable and glorious

The Song of Songs 5:9-16
The Maidens to The Beloved:
5:9 Why is your beloved better than others,
O most beautiful of women?
Why is your beloved better than others,
that you would command us in this manner?
The Beloved to the Maidens:
5:10 My beloved is dazzling and ruddy;
he stands out in comparison to all other men.
5:11 His head is like the most pure gold.
His hair is curly – black like a raven.
5:12 His eyes are like doves by streams of water,
washed in milk, mounted like jewels.
5:13 His cheeks are like garden beds full of balsam trees yielding perfume.
His lips are like lilies dripping with drops of myrrh.
5:14 His arms are like rods of gold set with chrysolite.
His abdomen is like polished ivory inlaid with sapphires.
5:15 His legs are like pillars of marble set on bases of pure gold.
His appearance is like Lebanon, choice as its cedars.
5:16 His mouth is very sweet;
he is totally desirable.
This is my beloved!
This is my companion, O maidens of Jerusalem!
Haggai 2:7
2:7 I will also shake up all the nations, and they
will offer their treasures;
then I will fill this temple with glory,’ says the
Lord who rules over all.
Matthew 13:44-46
Parables on the Kingdom of Heaven
13:44 “The kingdom of heaven is like a treasure, hidden in a field, that a person found and hid. Then because of joy he went and sold all that he had and bought that field.
13:45 “Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant searching for fine pearls.
13:46 When he found a pearl of great value, he went out and sold everything he had and bought it.
John 4:42
4:42 They said to the woman, “No longer do we believe because of your words, for we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this one
really is the Savior of the world.”
John 6:68-69
6:68 Simon Peter answered him, “Lord, to whom would we go? You have the words of eternal life.
6:69 We
have come to believe and to know
that you are the Holy One of God!”
Philippians 3:7-10
3:7 But these assets I have come to regard as liabilities because of Christ.
3:8 More than that, I now regard all things as liabilities compared to the far greater value of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord, for whom I have suffered the loss of all things – indeed, I regard them as dung!
– that I may gain Christ,
3:9 and be found in him, not because I have my own righteousness derived from the law, but because I have the righteousness that comes by way of Christ’s faithfulness
– a righteousness from God that is in fact
based on Christ’s
faithfulness.
3:10 My aim is to know him,
to experience the power of his resurrection, to share in his sufferings,
and to be like him in his death,
