Hannah Exalts the Lord in Prayer
2:1 Hannah prayed,
“My heart rejoices in the Lord;
my horn is exalted high because of the Lord.
I loudly denounce my enemies,
for I am happy that you delivered me.
1 Samuel 22:10
22:10 He inquired of the
Lord for him and gave him provisions. He also gave him the sword of Goliath the Philistine.”
1 Samuel 28:6
28:6 So Saul inquired of the
Lord, but the
Lord did not answer him – not by dreams nor by Urim
nor by the prophets.

28:10 But Saul swore an oath to her by the
Lord, “As surely as the

Lord, saying, “Should I pursue this raiding band? Will I overtake them?” He said to him, “Pursue, for you will certainly overtake them and carry out a rescue!”

over his sons and daughters. But David drew strength from the
Lord his God.
