2 Chronicles 12:7
12:7 When the
Lord saw that they humbled themselves, he gave this message to Shemaiah:
“They have humbled themselves, so I will not destroy them. I will deliver them soon.
My anger will not be unleashed against
Jerusalem through
Shishak.

Lord has decided
to destroy you, because you have done this thing and refused to listen to my advice.”

sent messengers to him, saying, “Why are you opposing me, O king of Judah?
I am not attacking you today, but the kingdom with which I am at war.
God told me to hurry. Stop opposing God, who is with me, or else he will destroy you.”
