2 Chronicles 28:24
28:24 Ahaz gathered the items in God’s temple and removed them. He shut the doors of the
Lord’s temple and erected altars on every street corner in Jerusalem.
2 Chronicles 34:4
34:4 He ordered the altars of the Baals to be torn down,
and broke the incense altars that were above them. He smashed the Asherah poles, idols and images, crushed them up and sprinkled the dust over the tombs of those who had sacrificed to them.
2 Chronicles 34:7
34:7 he tore down the altars and Asherah poles, demolished the idols, and smashed all the incense altars throughout the land of Israel. Then he returned to Jerusalem.

23:12 When Athaliah heard the royal guard shouting and praising the king, she joined the crowd at the Lord’s temple.
23:13 Then she saw the king standing by his pillar at the entrance. The officers and trumpeters stood beside the king and all the people of the land were celebrating and blowing trumpets, and the musicians with various instruments were leading the celebration. Athaliah tore her clothes and yelled, “Treason! Treason!”
Isaiah 2:18-20
2:18 The worthless idols will be completely eliminated.
2:19 They will go into caves in the rocky cliffs
and into holes in the ground,
trying to escape the dreadful judgment of the Lord
and his royal splendor,
when he rises up to terrify the earth.
2:20 At that time men will throw
their silver and gold idols,
which they made for themselves to worship,
into the caves where rodents and bats live,
