who lived in the cities of Judah also contributed a tenth of their cattle and sheep, as well as a tenth of the holy items consecrated to the
Lord their God. They brought them and placed them in many heaps.
2 Chronicles 34:9
34:9 They went to Hilkiah the high priest and gave him the silver that had been brought to God’s temple. The Levites who guarded the door had collected it from the people of
Manasseh and Ephraim and from all who were left in Israel, as well as from all the people of
Judah and Benjamin and the residents of
Jerusalem.
2 Chronicles 27:5
27:5 He launched a military campaign against the king of the Ammonites and defeated them. That year the Ammonites paid him 100 talents of silver, 10,000 kors of wheat, and 10,000 kors of barley. The Ammonites also paid this same amount of annual tribute the next two years.
