2 Kings 1:2
1:2 Ahaziah fell through a window lattice in his upper chamber in Samaria
and was injured. He sent messengers with these orders,
“Go, ask
Baal Zebub,
the god of Ekron, if I will survive this injury.”
2 Kings 1:10
1:10 Elijah replied to the captain,
“If I am indeed a prophet, may fire come down from the sky and consume you and your fifty soldiers!” Fire then came down
from the sky and consumed him and his fifty soldiers.

2:2 Elijah told Elisha, “Stay here, for the
Lord has sent me to Bethel.”
But Elisha said, “As certainly as the
Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went down to Bethel.

2:4 Elijah said to him, “Elisha, stay here, for the Lord has sent me to Jericho.” But he replied, “As certainly as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they went to Jericho.

2:6 Elijah said to him, “Stay here, for the Lord has sent me to the Jordan.” But he replied, “As certainly as the Lord lives and as you live, I will not leave you.” So they traveled on together.

4:2 Elisha said to her, “What can I do for you? Tell me, what do you have in the house?” She answered, “Your servant has nothing in the house except a small jar of olive oil.”

5:15 He and his entire entourage returned to the prophet. Naaman came and stood before him. He said, “For sure I know that there is no God in all the earth except in Israel! Now, please accept a gift from your servant.”

“Look, my master did not accept what this Syrian Naaman offered him.

Lord lives, I will run after him and accept something from him.”

7:10 So they went and called out to the gatekeepers
of the city. They told them, “We entered the Syrian camp and there was no one there. We didn’t even hear a man’s voice.
But the horses and donkeys are still tied up, and the tents remain up.”

9:15 But King Joram had returned to Jezreel to recover from the wounds he received from the Syrians
when he fought against King Hazael of Syria.
Jehu told his supporters,
“If you really want me to be king,
then don’t let anyone escape from the city to go and warn Jezreel.”

9:26 ‘“Know for sure that I saw the shed blood of Naboth and his sons yesterday,” says the
Lord, “and that I will give you what you deserve right here in this plot of land,”
says the
Lord.’ So now pick him up and throw him into this plot of land, just as the
Lord said.”

Lord’s commandment as recorded in the law scroll of Moses,
“Fathers must not be put to death for what their sons do,
and sons must not be put to death for what their fathers do.
A man must be put to death only for his own sin.”

Lord, who brought you up from the land of Egypt by his great power and military ability;
