Peter Visits Cornelius
10:1 Now there was a man in Caesarea named Cornelius, a centurion of what was known as the Italian Cohort.
Acts 24:23
24:23 He ordered the centurion
to guard Paul,
but to let him have some freedom,
and not to prevent any of his friends
from meeting his needs.

a ship from Alexandria
sailing for Italy, and he put us aboard it.

for he has something to report to him.”

27:1 When it was decided we would sail to Italy, they handed over Paul and some other prisoners to a centurion of the Augustan Cohort named Julius.
