Acts 18:25-26
18:25 He had been instructed in
the way of the Lord, and with great enthusiasm
he spoke and taught accurately the facts
about Jesus, although he knew
only the baptism of John.
18:26 He began to speak out fearlessly
in the synagogue,
but when Priscilla and Aquila
heard him, they took him aside
and explained the way of God to him more accurately.
Genesis 18:19
18:19 I have chosen him
so that he may command his children and his household after him to keep
the way of the
Lord by doing
what is right and just. Then the
Lord will give
to Abraham what he promised
him.”
Genesis 18:2
18:2 Abraham
looked up
and saw
three men standing across
from him. When he saw them
he ran from the entrance of the tent to meet them and bowed low
to the ground.
Genesis 17:6
17:6 I will make you
extremely
fruitful. I will make nations of you, and kings will descend from you.
Hosea 14:9
Concluding Exhortation
14:9 Who is wise?
Let him discern these things!
Who is discerning?
Let him understand them!
For the ways of the Lord are right;
the godly walk in them,
but in them the rebellious stumble.
John 1:23
1:23 John said, “I am the voice of one shouting in the wilderness, ‘Make straight the way for the Lord,’ as Isaiah the prophet said.”
