Acts 7:37-39
7:37 This is the Moses who said to the Israelites,
‘
God will raise up for you a prophet like me from among your brothers.’
7:38 This is the man who was in the congregation
in the wilderness
with the angel who spoke to him at Mount Sinai, and with our ancestors,
and he
received living oracles
to give to you.
7:39 Our
ancestors
were unwilling to obey
him, but pushed him aside
and turned back to Egypt in their hearts,
Acts 15:21
15:21 For Moses has had those who proclaim him in every town from ancient times,
because he is read aloud
in the synagogues
every Sabbath.”
Acts 21:20-22
21:20 When they heard this, they praised
God. Then they said to him, “You see, brother, how many thousands of Jews
there are who have believed, and they are all ardent observers
of the law.
21:21 They have been informed about you – that you teach all the Jews now living
among the Gentiles to abandon
Moses, telling them not to circumcise their children
or live
according to our customs.
21:22 What then should we do? They will no doubt
hear that you have come.
Acts 21:28
21:28 shouting, “Men of Israel,
help! This is the man who teaches everyone everywhere against our people, our law,
and this sanctuary!
Furthermore
he has brought Greeks into the inner courts of the temple
and made this holy place ritually unclean!”
John 1:17
1:17 For the law was given through Moses, but
grace and truth came about through Jesus Christ.
John 5:45-47
5:45 “Do not suppose that I will accuse you before the Father. The one who accuses you is Moses, in whom you have placed your hope.
5:46 If you believed Moses, you would believe me, because he wrote about me.
5:47 But if you do not believe what Moses wrote, how will you believe my words?”
John 9:29
9:29 We know that God has spoken to Moses! We do not know where this man
comes from!”
Hebrews 3:2-5
3:2 who is faithful to the one who appointed him, as Moses was also in God’s
house.
3:3 For he has come to deserve greater glory than Moses, just as the builder of a house deserves greater honor than the house itself!
3:4 For every house is built by someone, but the builder of all things is God.
3:5 Now Moses was
faithful in all God’s house as a servant, to testify to the things that would be spoken.
