9:2 and requested letters from him to the synagogues
in Damascus, so that if he found any who belonged to the Way,
either men or women, he could bring them as prisoners
to Jerusalem.

the Way
before the congregation, he left
them and took the disciples with him,
addressing
them every day
in the lecture hall
of Tyrannus.

Amos 8:14
8:14 These are the ones who now take oaths
in the name of the sinful idol goddess
of Samaria.

But they will fall down and not get up again.”

Amos 2:2

and it will consume Kerioth’s fortresses.
