Daniel 1:14
1:14 So the warden
agreed to their proposal
and tested them for ten
days.
Daniel 1:16
1:16 So the warden removed the delicacies and the wine
from their diet
and gave them a diet of vegetables instead.
Daniel 2:3
2:3 The king told them, “I have had a dream, and I am anxious to understand the dream.”
Daniel 1:5
1:5 So the king assigned them a daily ration
from his royal delicacies
and from the wine he himself drank. They were to be trained
for the next three years. At the end of that time they were to enter the king’s service.
Daniel 1:7
1:7 But the overseer of the court officials renamed them. He gave
Daniel the name Belteshazzar, Hananiah he named Shadrach, Mishael he named Meshach, and Azariah he named Abednego.
Daniel 1:17
1:17 Now as for these four young men, God endowed them with knowledge and skill in all sorts of literature and wisdom – and Daniel had insight into all kinds of visions and dreams.
Daniel 11:24
11:24 In a time of prosperity for the most productive areas of the province he will come and accomplish what neither his fathers nor their fathers accomplished. He will distribute loot, spoils, and property to his followers, and he will devise plans against fortified cities, but not for long.
