Daniel 2:12-13
2:12 Because of this the king got furiously angry and gave orders to destroy all the wise men of Babylon.
2:13 So a decree went out, and the wise men were about to be executed. They also sought Daniel and his friends so that they could be executed.
Daniel 3:6
3:6 Whoever does not bow down and pay homage will immediately
be thrown into the midst of a furnace of blazing fire!”
Daniel 3:20-21
3:20 He ordered strong
soldiers in his army to tie up Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and to throw them into the furnace of blazing fire.
3:21 So those men were tied up while still wearing their cloaks, trousers, turbans, and other clothes,
and were thrown into the furnace
of blazing fire.
Daniel 3:29
3:29 I hereby decree
that any people, nation, or language group that blasphemes
the god of Shadrach, Meshach, or Abednego will be dismembered and his home reduced to rubble! For there exists no other god who can deliver in this way.”
