Daniel 5:26
5:26 This is the interpretation of the words:
As for
mene – God has numbered your kingdom’s days and brought it to an end.
Daniel 1:11
1:11 Daniel then spoke to the warden
whom the overseer of the court officials had appointed over Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah:
Daniel 5:20
5:20 And when his mind
became arrogant
and his spirit filled with pride, he was deposed from his royal throne and his honor was removed from him.
Daniel 7:16
7:16 I approached one of those standing nearby and asked him about the meaning
of all this. So he spoke with me and revealed
to me the interpretation of the vision:
Daniel 7:24
7:24 The ten horns
mean that ten kings will arise from that kingdom.
Another king will arise after them,
but he will be different from the earlier ones.
He will humiliate three kings.
Daniel 1:10
1:10 But he
responded to Daniel, “I fear my master the king. He is the one who has decided
your food and drink. What would happen if he saw that you looked malnourished in comparison to the other young men your age?
If that happened,
you would endanger my life
with the king!”
