Deuteronomy 17:12
17:12 The person who pays no attention
to the priest currently serving the
Lord your God there, or to the verdict – that person must die, so that you may purge evil from Israel.

a bull or sheep that has a blemish or any other defect, because that is considered offensive
to the
Lord your God.

12:25 Take care not to refuse the one who is speaking! For if they did not escape when they refused the one who warned them on earth, how much less shall we, if we reject the one who warns from heaven?
