Acts 9:39-41
9:39 So Peter got up and went with them, and
when he arrived
they brought him to the upper room. All
the widows stood beside him, crying and showing him
the tunics
and other clothing
Dorcas used to make
while she was with them.
9:40 But Peter sent them all outside,
knelt down,
and prayed. Turning
to the body, he said, “Tabitha, get up.” Then she opened her eyes, and when she saw Peter, she sat up.
9:41 He gave
her his hand and helped her get up. Then he called
the saints and widows and presented her alive.
Acts 9:2

either men or women, he could bring them as prisoners
to Jerusalem.

1:14 in whom we have redemption,
the forgiveness of sins.
Colossians 1:2
1:2 to the saints, the faithful
brothers and sisters

from God our Father!
Colossians 1:16-18
1:16 for all things in heaven and on earth were created by him – all things, whether visible or invisible, whether thrones or dominions, whether principalities or powers – all things were created through him and for him.
1:17 He himself is before all things and all things are held together in him.
1:18 He is the head of the body, the church, as well as the beginning, the firstborn from among the dead, so that he himself may become first in all things.
