Deuteronomy 1:28
1:28 What is going to happen to us? Our brothers have drained away our courage
by describing people who are more numerous
and taller than we are, and great cities whose defenses appear to be as high as heaven
itself! Moreover, they said they saw

there.”
Deuteronomy 3:20
3:20 You must fight
until the
Lord gives your countrymen victory
as he did you and they take possession of the land that the
Lord your God is giving them on the other side of the Jordan River. Then each of you may return to his own territory that I have given you.”
Deuteronomy 10:10
10:10 As for me, I stayed at the mountain as I did the first time, forty days and nights. The
Lord listened to me that time as well and decided not to destroy you.
Deuteronomy 12:30-31
12:30 After they have been destroyed from your presence, be careful not to be ensnared like they are; do not pursue their gods and say, “How do these nations serve their gods? I will do the same.”
12:31 You must not worship the
Lord your God the way they do!
For everything that is abhorrent
to him,
everything he hates, they have done when worshiping their gods. They even burn up their sons and daughters before their gods!
Deuteronomy 22:22
22:22 If a man is caught having sexual relations with a married woman both the man who had relations with the woman and the woman herself must die; in this way you will purge evil from Israel.
Deuteronomy 26:13
26:13 Then you shall say before the
Lord your God, “I have removed the sacred offering
from my house and given it to the Levites, the resident foreigners, the orphans, and the widows just as you have commanded me.
I have not violated or forgotten your commandments.
