Deuteronomy 1:39
1:39 Also, your infants, who you thought would die on the way,
and your children, who as yet do not know good from bad,
will go there; I will give them the land and they will possess it.
Deuteronomy 11:17
11:17 Then the anger of the
Lord will erupt
against you and he will close up the sky
so that it does not rain. The land will not yield its produce, and you will soon be removed
from the good land that the Lord
is about to give you.

15:7 If a fellow Israelite from one of your villages in the land that the Lord your God is giving you should be poor, you must not harden your heart or be insensitive to his impoverished condition.

15:9 Be careful lest you entertain the wicked thought that the seventh year, the year of cancellation of debts, has almost arrived, and your attitude
be wrong toward your impoverished fellow Israelite
and you do not lend
him anything; he will cry out to the
Lord against you and you will be regarded as having sinned.
Deuteronomy 18:22
18:22 whenever a prophet speaks in my
name and the prediction
is not fulfilled,
then I have
not spoken it;
the prophet has presumed to speak it, so you need not fear him.”
Deuteronomy 20:14
20:14 However, the women, little children, cattle, and anything else in the city – all its plunder – you may take for yourselves as spoil. You may take from your enemies the plunder that the
Lord your God has given you.

Deuteronomy 21:16
21:16 In the day he divides his inheritance
he must not appoint as firstborn the son of the favorite wife in place of the other
wife’s son who is actually the firstborn.
Deuteronomy 24:5
24:5 When a man is newly married, he need not go into the army nor be obligated in any way; he must be free to stay at home for a full year and bring joy to the wife he has married.
Deuteronomy 24:19
24:19 Whenever you reap your harvest in your field and leave some unraked grain there,
you must not return to get it; it should go to the resident foreigner, orphan, and widow so that the
Lord your God may bless all the work you do.
Deuteronomy 26:3
26:3 You must go to the priest in office at that time and say to him, “I declare today to the
Lord your
God that I have come into the land that the
Lord promised
to our ancestors
to give us.”
Deuteronomy 28:65
28:65 Among those nations you will have no rest nor will there be a place of peaceful rest for the soles of your feet, for there the
Lord will give you an anxious heart, failing eyesight, and a spirit of despair.
Deuteronomy 29:13
29:13 Today he will affirm that you are his people and that he is your God,
just as he promised you and as he swore by oath to your ancestors
Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.
Deuteronomy 29:19
29:19 When such a person
hears the words of this oath he secretly
blesses himself
and says, “I will have peace though I continue to walk with a stubborn spirit.”
This will destroy
the watered ground with the parched.
