Unsuccessful Conquest of Canaan
1:41 Then you responded to me and admitted, “We have sinned against the Lord. We will now go up and fight as the Lord our God has told us to do.” So you each put on your battle gear and prepared to go up to the hill country.
Deuteronomy 9:18
9:18 Then I again fell down before the
Lord for forty days and nights; I ate and drank nothing because of all the sin you had committed, doing such evil before the

Deuteronomy 19:15
19:15 A single witness may not testify against another person for any trespass or sin that he commits. A matter may be legally established only on the testimony of two or three witnesses.
Deuteronomy 24:4
24:4 her first husband who divorced her is not permitted to remarry
her after she has become ritually impure, for that is offensive to the
Lord.

which the
Lord your God is giving you as an inheritance.
