Deuteronomy 13:5
13:5 As for that prophet or dreamer,
he must be executed because he encouraged rebellion against the
Lord your God who brought you from the land of Egypt, redeeming you from that place of slavery, and because he has tried to entice you from the way the
Lord your God has commanded you to go. In this way you must purge out evil from within.
Deuteronomy 17:7
17:7 The witnesses
must be first to begin the execution, and then all the people
are to join in afterward. In this way you will purge evil from among you.
Deuteronomy 19:20
19:20 The rest of the people will hear and become afraid to keep doing such evil among you.
Deuteronomy 21:20-21
21:20 They must declare to the elders
of his city, “Our son is stubborn and rebellious and pays no attention to what we say – he is a glutton and drunkard.”
21:21 Then all the men of his city must stone him to death. In this way you will purge out
wickedness from among you, and all Israel
will hear about it and be afraid.
Deuteronomy 22:21
22:21 the men of her city must bring the young woman to the door of her father’s house and stone her to death, for she has done a disgraceful thing
in Israel by behaving like a prostitute while living in her father’s house. In this way you will purge
evil from among you.
Deuteronomy 22:24
22:24 you must bring the two of them to the gate of that city and stone them to death, the young woman because she did not cry out though in the city and the man because he violated
his neighbor’s fiancĂ©e;
in this way you will purge
evil from among you.
Deuteronomy 24:7
24:7 If a man is found kidnapping a person from among his fellow Israelites, and regards him as mere property and sells him, that kidnapper must die. In this way you will purge evil from among you.
