Deuteronomy 28:62-64
28:62 There will be very few of you left, though at one time you were as numerous as the stars in the sky,
because you will have disobeyed
the
Lord your God.
28:63 This is what will happen: Just as the
Lord delighted to do good for you and make you numerous, he
will take delight in destroying and decimating you. You will be uprooted from the land you are about to possess.
28:64 The
Lord will scatter you among all nations, from one end of the earth to the other. There you will worship other gods that neither you nor your ancestors have known, gods of wood and stone.
Nehemiah 1:3
1:3 They said to me, “The remnant that remains from the exile there in the province are experiencing considerable adversity and reproach. The wall of Jerusalem lies breached, and its gates have been burned down!”
Nehemiah 1:8-9
1:8 Please recall the word you commanded your servant Moses: ‘If you act unfaithfully, I will scatter you among the nations.
1:9 But if you repent
and obey
my commandments and do them, then even if your dispersed people are in the most remote location,
I will gather them from there and bring them to the place I have chosen for my name to reside.’
Ezekiel 12:15
12:15 “Then they will know that I am the Lord when I disperse them among the nations and scatter them among foreign countries.
Ezekiel 32:26
32:26 “Meshech-Tubal is there, along with all her hordes around her grave. All of them are uncircumcised, killed by the sword, for they spread their terror in the land of the living.
