28:68 Then the
Lord will make you return to Egypt by ship, over a route I said to you that you would never see again. There you will sell yourselves to your enemies as male and female slaves, but no one will buy you.”

The Leading of God
13:17 When Pharaoh released the people, God did not lead them by the way to the land of the Philistines, although that was nearby, for God said, “Lest the people change their minds and return to Egypt when they experience war.”

14:13 Moses said to the people, “Do not fear! Stand firm and see the salvation of the Lord that he will provide for you today; for the Egyptians that you see today you will never, ever see again.
Numbers 14:3-4

Jeremiah 42:15-16
42:15 If you people who remain in Judah do that, then listen to what the
Lord says. The
Lord God of Israel who rules over all
says, ‘If you are so determined
to go to Egypt that you go and settle there,
42:16 the wars you fear will catch up with you there in the land of Egypt. The starvation you are worried about will follow you there to
Egypt. You will die there.
Hosea 11:5
11:5 They will return to Egypt!
