and burn up their idols.
Deuteronomy 7:25-26
7:25 You must burn the images of their gods, but do not covet the silver and gold that covers them so much that you take it for yourself and thus become ensnared by it; for it is abhorrent
to the
Lord your God.
7:26 You must not bring any abhorrent thing into your house and thereby become an object of divine wrath
along with it.
You must absolutely detest
and abhor it,
for it is an object of divine wrath.

Exodus 34:12-17
34:12 Be careful not to make
a covenant with the inhabitants of the land where you are going, lest it become a snare
among you.

34:14 For you must not worship
any other god,
for the
Lord, whose name
is Jealous, is a jealous God.
34:15 Be careful
not to make a covenant with the inhabitants of the land, for when
they prostitute themselves
to their gods and sacrifice to their gods, and someone invites you,
you will eat from his sacrifice;
34:16 and you then take
his daughters for your sons, and when his daughters prostitute themselves to their gods, they will make your sons prostitute themselves to their gods as well.
34:17 You must not make yourselves molten gods.
Numbers 33:51-52

and demolish their high places.
