Ecclesiastes 6:12

6:12 For no one knows what is best for a person during his life

during the few days of his fleeting life –

for they pass away like a shadow.

Nor can anyone tell him what the future will hold for him on earth.

Ecclesiastes 9:12

9:12 Surely, no one knows his appointed time!

Like fish that are caught in a deadly net, and like birds that are caught in a snare –

just like them, all people are ensnared at an unfortunate time that falls upon them suddenly.

Ecclesiastes 10:14

10:14 yet a fool keeps on babbling.

No one knows what will happen;

who can tell him what will happen in the future?

Proverbs 24:22

24:22 for suddenly their destruction will overtake them,

Then the door was shut. 25:11 Later, the other virgins came too, saying, ‘Lord, lord! Let us in!’ 25:12 But he replied, ‘I tell you the truth, I do not know you!’ 25:13 Therefore stay alert, because you do not know the day or the hour.
