Esther 3:15
3:15 The messengers
scurried forth
with the king’s order.
The edict was issued in Susa the citadel. While the king and Haman sat down to drink, the city of Susa was in an uproar!
Esther 7:2
7:2 On the second day of the banquet of wine the king asked Esther, “What is your request, Queen Esther? It shall be granted to you. And what is your petition? Ask up to half the kingdom, and it shall be done!”
Esther 8:13
8:13 A copy of the edict was to be presented as law throughout each and every province and made known to all peoples, so that the Jews might be prepared on that
day to avenge themselves from their enemies.
Esther 9:13
9:13 Esther replied, “If the king is so inclined, let the Jews who are in Susa be permitted to act tomorrow also according to today’s law, and let them hang the ten sons of Haman on the gallows.”
