Exodus 2:14

2:14 The man replied, “Who made you a ruler and a judge over us? Are you planning to kill me like you killed that Egyptian?” Then Moses was afraid, thinking, “Surely what I did has become known.”

2:2 The kings of the earth form a united front;

the rulers collaborate

against the Lord and his anointed king.

2:3 They say, “Let’s tear off the shackles they’ve put on us!

Luke 19:14

19:14 But his citizens hated him and sent a delegation after him, saying, ‘We do not want this man to be king over us!’

Acts 7:25-27

7:25 He thought his own people would understand that God was delivering them through him, but they did not understand. 7:26 The next day Moses saw two men fighting, and tried to make peace between them, saying, ‘Men, you are brothers; why are you hurting one another?’ 7:27 But the man who was unfairly hurting his neighbor pushed Moses aside, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and judge over us?

Acts 7:35

7:35 This same Moses they had rejected, saying, ‘Who made you a ruler and judge? God sent as both ruler and deliverer through the hand of the angel who appeared to him in the bush.
