Exodus 5:8
5:8 But you must require
of them the same quota of bricks that they were making before.
Do not reduce it, for they are slackers.
That is why they are crying, ‘Let us go sacrifice to our God.’
Exodus 6:6
6:6 Therefore, tell the Israelites, ‘I am the
Lord. I will bring you out
from your enslavement to
the Egyptians, I will rescue you from the hard labor they impose,
and I will redeem you with an outstretched arm and with great judgments.
Exodus 7:10
7:10 When
Moses and Aaron went to Pharaoh, they did so, just as the
Lord had commanded them – Aaron threw
down his staff before Pharaoh and his servants and it became a snake.
Exodus 7:20
7:20 Moses and Aaron did so,
just as the
Lord had commanded. Moses raised
the staff
and struck the water that was in the Nile right before the eyes
of Pharaoh and his servants,
and all the water that was in the Nile was turned to blood.
Exodus 8:17
8:17 They did so; Aaron extended his hand with his staff, he struck the dust of the ground, and it became gnats on people
and on animals. All the dust of the ground became gnats throughout all the land of Egypt.
Exodus 8:26
8:26 But Moses said, “That would not be the right thing to do,
for the sacrifices we make
to the
Lord our God would be an abomination
to the Egyptians.
If we make sacrifices that are an abomination to the Egyptians right before their eyes,
will they not stone us?
Exodus 11:1
The Tenth Blow: Death
11:1 The Lord said to Moses, “I will bring one more plague on Pharaoh and on Egypt; after that he will release you from this place. When he releases you, he will drive you out completely from this place.
Exodus 11:8
11:8 All these your servants will come down to me and bow down
to me, saying, ‘Go, you and all the people who follow
you,’ and after that I will go out.” Then Moses
went out from Pharaoh in great anger.
Exodus 13:15
13:15 When Pharaoh stubbornly refused
to release us, the
Lord killed all the firstborn in the land of Egypt, from the firstborn of people to the firstborn of animals.
That is why I am sacrificing
to the
Lord the first male offspring of every womb, but all my firstborn sons I redeem.’
Exodus 16:29
16:29 See, because the
Lord has given you the Sabbath, that is why
he is giving you food for two days on the sixth day. Each of you stay where you are;
let no one
go out of his place on the seventh day.”
Exodus 17:6
17:6 I will be standing
before you there on
the rock in Horeb, and you will strike
the rock, and water will come out of it so that the people may drink.”
And Moses did so in plain view
of the elders of Israel.
