Ezekiel 1:1
A Vision of God’s Glory
1:1 In the thirtieth year, on the fifth day of the fourth month, while I was among the exiles at the Kebar River, the heavens opened and I saw a divine vision.
Ezekiel 4:4
4:4 “Also for your part lie on your left side and place the iniquity of the house of Israel on it. For the number of days you lie on your side you will bear their iniquity.
Ezekiel 12:4
12:4 Bring out your belongings packed for exile during the day while they are watching. And go out at evening, while they are watching, as if for exile.
Ezekiel 12:25
12:25 For I, the
Lord, will speak. Whatever word I speak will be accomplished. It will not be delayed any longer. Indeed in your days, O rebellious house, I will speak the word and accomplish it, declares the sovereign
Lord.’”
Ezekiel 16:4-5
16:4 As for your birth, on the day you were born your umbilical cord was not cut, nor were you washed in water;
you were certainly not rubbed down with salt, nor wrapped with blankets.
16:5 No eye took pity on you to do even one of these things for you to spare you;
you were thrown out into the open field
because you were detested on the day you were born.
Ezekiel 20:6
20:6 On that day I swore
to bring them out of the land of Egypt to a land which I had picked out
for them, a land flowing with milk and honey,
the most beautiful of all lands.
Ezekiel 23:39
23:39 On the same day they slaughtered their sons for their idols, they came to my sanctuary to desecrate it. This is what they have done in the middle of my house.
