Ezra 1:3
1:3 Anyone from
his people among you (may his God be with him!) may go up to Jerusalem, which is in Judah, and may build the temple of the
Lord God of Israel – he is the God who is in Jerusalem.
Ezra 3:10
3:10 When the builders established the
Lord’s temple, the priests, ceremonially attired and with their clarions,
and the Levites (the sons of Asaph) with their cymbals, stood to praise the
Lord according to the instructions left by
King David of Israel.
Ezra 4:2
4:2 they came to Zerubbabel and the leaders
and said to them, “Let us help you build,
for like you we seek your God and we have been sacrificing to him
from the time
of King Esarhaddon
of Assyria, who brought us here.”
Ezra 7:25
7:25 “Now you, Ezra, in keeping with the wisdom of your God which you possess, appoint judges and court officials who can arbitrate cases on behalf of all the people who are in Trans-Euphrates who know the laws of your God. Those who do not know this law should be taught.
