1:8 King Cyrus of Persia entrusted

the treasurer, who counted them out to Sheshbazzar
the leader of the Judahite exiles.
Ezra 3:10
3:10 When the builders established the
Lord’s temple, the priests, ceremonially attired and with their clarions,
and the Levites (the sons of Asaph) with their cymbals, stood to praise the
Lord according to the instructions left by
King David of Israel.

6:11 “I hereby give orders that if anyone changes this directive a beam is to be pulled out from his house and he is to be raised up and impaled on it, and his house is to be reduced to a rubbish heap for this indiscretion.
Ezra 5:8
5:8 Let it be known to the king that we have gone to the province of Judah, to the temple of the great God. It is being built with large stones,
and timbers are being placed in the walls. This work is being done with all diligence and is prospering in their hands.
Ezra 9:2
9:2 Indeed, they have taken some of their daughters as wives for themselves and for their sons, so that the holy race
has become intermingled with the local residents. Worse still, the leaders and the officials have been at the forefront of all of this!”
