Ezra 6:9-10
6:9 Whatever is needed – whether oxen or rams or lambs or burnt offerings for the God of heaven or wheat or salt or wine or oil, as required by
the priests who are in Jerusalem – must be given to them daily without any neglect,
6:10 so that they may be offering incense to the God of heaven and may be praying for the good fortune of the king and his family.
Deuteronomy 14:24-26
14:24 When he
blesses you, if the
place where he chooses to locate his name is distant,
14:25 you may convert the tithe into money, secure the money,
and travel to the place the
Lord your God chooses for himself.
14:26 Then you may spend the money however you wish for cattle, sheep, wine, beer, or whatever you desire. You and your household may eat there in the presence of the
Lord your God and enjoy it.

21:13 And he said to them, “It is written, ‘My house will be called a house of prayer,’ but you are turning it into a den of robbers!”
John 2:14
2:14 He found in the temple courts those who were selling oxen and sheep and doves, and the money changers sitting at tables.
