Galatians 5:4
5:4 You who are trying to be declared righteous
by the law have been alienated
from Christ; you have fallen away from grace!
Galatians 5:6

Acts 15:1

Romans 9:31-32
9:31 but Israel even though pursuing
a law of righteousness
did not attain it.
9:32 Why not? Because they pursued
it not by faith but (as if it were possible) by works.
They stumbled over the stumbling stone,
Romans 10:2-3
10:2 For I can testify that they are zealous for God,
but their zeal is not in line with the truth.
10:3 For ignoring the righteousness that comes from God, and seeking instead to establish their own righteousness, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.
Hebrews 4:2
