Genesis 14:18-20
14:18 Melchizedek king of Salem
brought out bread and wine. (Now he was the priest of the Most High God.)
14:19 He blessed Abram, saying,
“Blessed be Abram by the Most High God,
Creator of heaven and earth.
14:20 Worthy of praise is the Most High God,
who delivered your enemies into your hand.”
Abram gave Melchizedek a tenth of everything.
Genesis 27:4
27:4 Then prepare for me some tasty food, the kind I love, and bring it to me. Then
I will eat it so that I may bless you
before I die.”
Genesis 48:9
48:9 Joseph said to his father, “They are the
sons God has given me in this place.” His father
said, “Bring them to me so I may bless them.”
