Genesis 14:22
14:22 But Abram replied to the king of Sodom, “I raise my hand
to the
Lord, the Most High God, Creator of heaven and earth, and vow
Exodus 6:8

Numbers 14:28-30
14:28 Say to them, ‘As I live,

14:29 Your dead bodies
will fall in this wilderness – all those of you who were numbered, according to your full number, from twenty years old and upward, who have murmured against me.
14:30 You will by no means enter into the land where
I swore
to settle
you. The only exceptions are Caleb son of Jephunneh and Joshua son of Nun.
Jeremiah 4:2
4:2 You must be truthful, honest and upright
when you take an oath saying, ‘As surely as the Lord lives!’
If you do, the nations will pray to be as blessed by him as you are
and will make him the object of their boasting.”

6:17 In the same way
God wanted to demonstrate more clearly to the heirs of the promise that his purpose was unchangeable,
and so he intervened with an oath,
6:18 so that we who have found refuge in him
may find strong encouragement to hold fast to the hope set before us through two unchangeable things, since it is impossible for God to lie.
