Genesis 8:1
8:1 But God remembered Noah and all the wild animals and domestic animals that were with him in the ark. God caused a wind to blow over the earth and the waters receded.
Exodus 10:13
10:13 So Moses extended his staff over the land of Egypt, and then the
Lord brought
an east wind on the land all that day and all night.
The morning came,
and the east wind had brought up
the locusts!
Exodus 10:19
10:19 and the
Lord turned a very strong west wind,
and it picked up the locusts and blew them into the Red Sea.
Not one locust remained in all the territory of Egypt.
Exodus 14:21
14:21 Moses stretched out his hand toward the sea, and the
Lord drove the sea apart
by a strong east wind all that night, and he made the sea into dry land, and the water was divided.

he breathes on it, and the water flows.
Jonah 1:4
1:4 But
the
Lord hurled
a powerful
wind on the sea. Such a violent
tempest arose on the sea that
the ship threatened to break up!
Jonah 4:8
4:8 When the sun began to shine, God sent
a hot
east wind. So the sun beat down
on Jonah’s head, and he grew faint. So he despaired of life,
and said, “I would rather die than live!”
Matthew 8:26-27
8:26 But
he said to them, “Why are you cowardly, you people of little faith?” Then he got up and rebuked
the winds and the sea,
and it was dead calm.

were amazed and said,
“What sort of person is this? Even the winds and the sea obey him!”
