Genesis 16:11
16:11 Then the
Lord’s angel said to her,
“You are now pregnant
and are about to give birth to a son.
You are to name him Ishmael,
for the Lord has heard your painful groans.
Genesis 19:19-20
19:19 Your
servant has found favor with you,
and you have shown me great
kindness
by sparing
my life. But I am not able to escape to the mountains because
this disaster will overtake
me and I’ll die.
19:20 Look, this town
over here is close enough to escape to, and it’s just a little one.
Let me go there.
It’s just a little place, isn’t it?
Then I’ll survive.”
Genesis 27:19
27:19 Jacob said to his father, “I am Esau, your firstborn. I’ve done as you told me. Now sit up
and eat some of my wild game so that you can bless me.”

28:6 Esau saw that Isaac had blessed Jacob and sent him off to Paddan Aram to find a wife there. As he blessed him, Isaac commanded him, “You must not marry a Canaanite woman.”
